In diesem Buch beschreibt Frau Kaufmann 7 für sie zentrale Aspekte des Alterns

-DNA-Reparatur-Mechanismen
-Mitochondrien
-Protein-Produktion
-Qualitätskontrolle der Proteine
-Immunsystem
-Spezielle Zelltypen
-Abfallbeseitigung (Senolyse)

recht prägnant ohne große Fachsprache.

Dazu stellt sie etwa 20 NEM vor und bewertet diese anhand der 7 erwähnten Alterungsfaktoren.

Je nach Ausgangslage (Genetik, Lifestyle, Phänotyp...) sollte jeder Leser diese 7 Faktoren nun für sich bewerten/gewichten. Und davon wiederum ausgehend kann er dann sein NEM-Programm aufbauen

Ein recht pragmatischer Ansatz wie ich finde, sozusagen "Anti-Aging for Dummies"

ja, die in #1 genannten Dosierungen sind tatsächlich fast alle im Hochdosis-Bereich angesiedelt - insbesondere wenn man bedenkt, dass hier auch Substanzen mit ähnlichen Angriffspunkten miteinander kombiniert werden sollen, kann das problematisch sein...
Allerdings verstehe ich Kaufmann so, dass eben NICHT alles genommen werden soll:

Ich denke, das Sie den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht mehr sieht...

Die Chancen werden mit den Basics verschenkt.... Ernährung, Hormonsystem, unötiger ox-Stress für EMF, Hg-Belastung, HPU, chronischen Entzündungen im Kiefer....

Die basic-Supps müssen stimmen: Mg, Zn, Vit B*, C, D, K - teils auch Molybdän, Vit A & E.

Sind die anderen Baustellen nicht beseitigt - also die ich aufgezählt habe - dann bringt das was Sie schreibt herzlich wenig im "Konzert". Und selbst wenn alles andere o.k. ist - wäre ich da sehr vorsichtig.

Anti-Aging bedeutet auch: Den Hausputz beim Fundament anfangen!

Im Prinzip ist das, was Kaufmann vorschlägt die heute für den interessierten Laien bereits konkret machbare Version dessen, was Aubrey de Grey hochtheoretisch mit seiner SENS-Stiftung im Sinne hat

Von daher empfinde ich deine Kritik als eher kleinkariert und zu detailverloren. Sorry, Hans. Das eine (Kaufmann-Protokoll) schließt das andere (EMF-Meidung, Bewegung, ein gutes Multivitamin etc.) ja nicht aus. Es liegt einfach nur nicht im Fokus. Punkt.

Scout, wieviele abgerockte Menschen laufen Dir denn so über den Weg???
Wenn ich denen, die ich kenne, diese Sachen geben würde, die drehen völlig am Rad, das kannst Du mir glauben!

Nee, ich finde die Einwürfe von hans mehr als gerechtfertigt! Wäre sehr unverantwortlich, wenn man z.B. als Therapeut so drauf hauen würde.
Wenn jemand meint, es so machen zu müssen, ohne sich einschlägig damit zu befassen und das "Haus nicht von der Bodenplatte" anfängt zu bauen, dann ist es dessen persönliche Entscheidung.
Aber davor nicht zu warnen wäre sehr unnett, wenn man es besser weiß.

Ich hab das Buch ml bestellt, um zu lesen was den wirklich drinsteht.

Ich sehe das auch in mehreren Stufen:
- "Basics": Nahrung ergänzen um das was vll fehlt. Was gnau ich aufnehme - keine Ahnung.
Viel Nahrung geht eh nicht (Vergiftung "Selbstmord mit Messer und Gabel", schlank bleiben etc.
Möchte gern "Tara" sparen.
- liefstyle - aber realistisch
- spezielle Geroprotektoren. Momentan nehme ich davor nichts. Aber dioe Stoffe die Kaufmann
benennt sind hier alle schon diskutiert worden, also alles bekannt.

immer: jung denken (pychischer Aspekt)

de Grey war mein erstes Anti-Aging-Buch (2016 in engl).
Ich finde nicht alles realistisch, z.B.
- Telomerase totlegen
- die Mito-Gene in den Zellkern verlegen, weil sie da sicherer sind (die meisten sind bereits dort)
- Stammzellen ergänzen

PS: und nicht vergessen: entscheidend ist was hinten rauskommt! Ich will auch Verbesserungen sehen (und spüren).

Also ich hab festgestellt - gerade jetzt bei der Hitze - nachmittags ein Glas kaltes Wasser mit einer Mg-Brausetablette erfrischt
sehr viel mehr als nur Wasser. Morgens ist das + C mein erstes Getränk. Das gibt den Schub. Mit etwas Taurin :-)

P.S.: Hat jemand ein besseres Geroprotektor-Supplementierungs -Protokoll*? Welche Strategie nutzt ihr und in welchen Punkten ist eure Strategie der Strategie von Kaufmann überlegen?
*Geroprotektoren(!), ich meine NICHT Vitamin-Supplementierung. Vitamine supplementiert Kaufmann auch.

Schließt ja nicht aus, dass man nebenbei auch eine Basis-Geroprotektion durchführt...
Warum nur lebensverkürzende Maßnahmen angehen oder nur Alterung verzögern? Mit einer "sowohl als auch"-Strategie kann man mehr erreichen!
