Genau das sage ich ja die ganze Zeit, interessiert die meisten bloß leider nicht. Dieses Virus lässt einen buchstäblich schneller altern.
Anscheinend spricht das Paper für Metformin und Statine (Simvastatin) als Klotho-Agonisten? Wie es wohl mit Klotho-Injektionen aussähe?

Ob es da auch einen Zusammenhang geben könnte? Scheint ganz so, als würden niedrige Level von Alpha-Klotho die Oxidation (auch in den Mitos) erhöhen und die Gefäße schädigen bzw. schneller altern lassen können - also genau die Probleme, welche (Long) Covid unter anderem verursacht. Das soll kein voreiliger Schluss sein, aber man sollte es mal weiter untersuchen.
